The Material
Pima cotton is not a commodity. It is geography made textile.
Grown in the Piura river valleys of northern Peru, Pima cotton produces fibres of exceptional length — a direct result of extreme sunlight and low humidity. Fibre length determines softness, durability, and lustre.
We source exclusively from certified Peruvian farms.

Properties
What the fibre delivers.
- Extra-Long Staple
- Pima fibres measure 38–40mm in length — nearly 50% longer than standard cotton. Length directly determines softness, strength, and the ability to produce fine, smooth yarns.
- Geographic Origin
- Grown in the Piura and Ica valleys of coastal Peru, where extreme sunlight and low humidity create irreplaceable growing conditions. This geography cannot be replicated.
- Zero Pilling
- Longer fibres twist into tighter yarns, producing a surface that resists pilling — even after hundreds of washes. The fabric improves with age.
- Natural Lustre
- The length and fineness of Pima fibres creates a natural sheen absent in shorter staple cottons — without chemical treatment of any kind.

Piura Valley,
northern Peru.
The Piura region sits at 5°S latitude, where the Andean desert meets the Pacific coast. Virtually no rainfall — irrigation fed by glacial rivers, near-constant sunlight. These extreme conditions stress the cotton plant into producing fibres of exceptional length and density.
